wnter hunt 7-jan 2014.JPG
called 'em in close, picked them up at my frozen feet....
got out for a few hours in the polar vortex....had some early action..then a bonus banded goose came to play right before the frost bite set in (not really but it was freaking cold)....my waders were so frozen.....I looked like the walking dead coming out of river....my brother is going to see this and kill me...it was locked up until that rain....just a few ducks hanging around....

Nice job on the birds.Congrats on the band also. That's the reason I am hunting ducks more than deer. You always see ducks, deer, not so much.

I don't know how many times I was on deer stand thinking I could be duck hunting somewhere....my hand was forced this year by the early lock up of all of our winter spots..gotta find some
Late season central mass ducks...I know they are out there somewhere....
