It's not often that I take much of an interest in my work as a DPW employee,
, but every once in a while I get to do some things that are related to my interests in the outdoors. Today was a nice break from fighting the snow and ice all winter. I took this pile of rough sawn pine,
and turned it into 25 Wood duck boxes. The wood was milled from fallen trees on the Audubon property in Marshfield. Duxbury conservation bought the materials and I churned them out.
We should be placing them around Duxbury in the coming weeks. Kind of nice to be able to give back to the resource.
