Looks like a "smoky gray" phase wild turkey....not very common at all, but have heard of several reports of these from across MA in the past few years. They tend not to survive too long, but some, particularly in more developed areas survive and are reported because they are highly visible.
That is a great looking bird. I had never heard of that color phase before.
