Some local duck photos with hybrid

Postby Joser06 » Sat Mar 22, 2014 3:35 pm

Went down to take some pictures of a few waterfowl hanging around in the city. I have seen two hybrids hanging around for a couple years so I have waited for the spring to get pictures of them fully plumed out. There is also a bunch of geese hanging around and this oddball farm duck that I can't Id but have made out surprising well, as I have been seeing it for at least three years. The lighting wasn't very good for distance shots but I am sure you are going to pick out what I am assuming is the mallard/black hybrid. Enjoy the pictures and I hope to get some more pictures of wild birds once I buy a better camera lens.

Yeah I bet he would taste pretty good. Not sure where it came from as there aren't any farms around where it hangs out
