Not the early goose season, but the U.P. duck opener.

I know it's a little late, but there were a ton of people up here for the opener this year, probably because of the three seperate openers and the fact that bow season wasn't open yet. As always, some people did well, others didn't.
How many bluebills, cans, redheads, pintails, and black ducks can they shoot in Canada (and Mexico)?

There are some good spots up there with limited people especially if you can stay out of the Bay... Did you guys find any good beaver ponds? I had a bunch when I was up there at Lake State...

I agree, there's plenty of area to hunt and not many hunters after the opener. Some of my buddies hunt beaver ponds, but I'm more of a big water guy. I like to hunt divers. I have never hunted 'the bay' since I hear it's pretty crowded. Might have to try the divers down there, though.
