I heard a rumor that there was some dirty breeding going on over seas with Griffunts and there starting to show up in some of the litters here in MI. The rumor was that they where breeding in Gordens setters for there nose. Not sure if it is true but though you might know. I thought I saw a griff in your avator, sorry about that! :fingerhead:

I will throw this out and not to start a negative chat.

My years spent judging and testing dogs in the field, I never saw a GORDON that I would consider having a good nose, a nose strong enough that I would breed it into another dog for a positive reason!!

THere is a smaller vesion of the Gordon that has an awesome nose, but frankly GSP and GWP are a mixture of dogs as you know for all the strengths, you know the store of the breeding of these breeds riight? HEll we have HOUND dog in our breeds, and it makes them awesome trackers.
