Duckin starting to pick up

Postby goosecaller » Mon Nov 21, 2005 7:42 am

With the rain we had on Teusday and Wednesday, the swamp that I hunt went from empty to 2 ft of water. Then the ducks found it. I shot my limit on Thursday morning in 26 minutes. We took 16 birds total in those 26 minutes. It was the best gunning I have had. I have shot my limit every day since then too. Great hunting. I was surprised to shoot a green wing teal tursday morning. I thought they would have been gone by now. Hope everyone else is having as much fun as I am with this weather. Now I just have to worry about the swamp freezing over.

I'm with you on that one Goosecaller. Been slamming the ducks since last Tuesday. I have seen increadable numbers of Green Wing Teal, I usually like to pass them up, but some of their crazy dive bombing has given in to temptation, I now have a few of them in the freezer.....lol.
