They are probably past your area by now, unless you know of some open water, you may be able to bang a few of the hardy ones that are left. We still have a few near open water about a 100 miles south and east of you, Got 13 birds yesterday but had to fight ice to get them.

The flight ducks have been down in the Fish Point area for about 3 weeks now ... however due to the Southerly winds over the past couple of weeks ... there are only puddles left in the entire Fish Point area. We ended up pulling the pontoon blind out of the water .. while there were 4-6 inches left.

I have been hunting down in the Lake St. Clair area over the last two weeks .. and the flight birds are definately there!

Going out of the Decker's launch site ... and hunting out near the grass flats and Parrott Bay areas .... We have scored almost every day on Greenheads, Bills, Buffies, lotsa Reds .. (more than years past) ...some Blacks ... and even picked up a couple of pinnies ...

From around Metro Beach area ... up past Selfrige AFB ...and all the way around Anchor Bay to St. james Marsh ... there had been before ice-up ... bands of perhaps 100-200 birds just offshore ... approximately every 1/4 mile.

If this warm weather holds ...and things melt-up over the next few days ... there will be some good gunning through the week!
