The geese were on our pond the first day and we got some but then they did not come back until today and of course I had to work. My dad called me to let me know that there were several dozen geese on the pond and fields. He could have thrown a little salt in for good measure. Ususlly we can shoot and they will circle back and try to land again but not this year, one round of shooting and they were gone for 2 weeks. I am pretty sure it had something to do with the farms around my dads starting to take the head rows off their fields.
