I would find some spots with ducks, and get permission to hunt there. But that's just me.

You are in luck, I have done a ton of scouting in the area, spending a lot of time and money driving around finding birds and acquiring permission to hunt in these areas. I would like for nothing more than to hook you up with all my spots, just send me your info and I'll pass it right on!

You broke the cardnial sin on here dude but I'll help the best I can, Jackson county is like Calhoun, zero public hunting area. Your best bet will be to find some land owners with some ducky property and get permission early near your house for some "from the hip" hunts when you cant get permission anywere else. Look for property near big lakes and maybe once take 94 toward parma a hour before dark (hint hint). Take a count of how many "no" answers you get because of deer leases to private land. Im just curious. Good luck dude, hope that helps.
