the fog this morning was very bad we couldnt see the birds till they were right on top of us so we had to be on the top of or game the whole time but we made the best with what we had to work with and killed 12 shot some teal blue and green wing ,mallards, and bluebills but all in all we still had a good hunt seen a few ducks and killed a few.

I had the same thing happen during early goose season, I though it added a pretty cool aspect to the hunt. Watching the birds go in and out of sight (because of the fog). Then abruptly coming into sight right in front of the blind, with their wings set, made for a pretty cool hunt.

Been tough here on the Saginaw bay. No water anywhere beer shore. Sieriosly thinking about buying a layout and start some diver hunting. Hopefully this rain and north wind will bring the water back in a little.

ya water has been the biggest thing this year but all the rain we have been getting this past weekend and the rain that is coming this week should help us out before the rest of the migration gets here all you can do is hunt hard hope for the best and expect the worst but so far this season with the way the water has been and the weather my season has been going good.
