Duck hunting lakes??

Postby DuckDropperDuckFlopper » Thu Jan 03, 2013 4:23 pm

I'm new to duck hunting and was curious as to which lakes are good? I live out near Grand Rapids but my buddies live near flint. Anywhere in between the two? I'm assuming by me Lake Michigan is a good location. Any help would be appreciated.

Step one: Go to DNR website and go to MI hunt and find some public land in the area you want to hunt.

Step two: Go on google earth and check out these areas for swamps, wetlands, ponds, marshes, ect. Even some ag. fields could be good.

Step three: Get in your car/truck and check these areas out and see if there are any ducks in them.

Step four: Wait till next season and go hunt.

Good luck.
