hmm i wont be in school till the 8th so that gives me 7 mornings of hunting while you old guys are at work :biggrin: i havent seen to many birds in my area though but i need to do some scouting still. and maybe pick up a hunting partner...

any one know if the state regs are out yet??

They just cut us to 32 hours so I will have a lot more time this year. Lots of birds in the back yard already :biggrin:

Guided Corn field hunt, than public land for rest of early season.

Just picked up access to a few gravel pits in my area. hopefully that will pan out, my favorite fields are beans this year not real excited by that. Not a lot of wheat ground around here may try some hay fields this season. Good luck all!

I have the 1st-8th off!!! I can hunt about 15000 acres in western Michigan and have been seeing about 50-150 birds in 3 of my fields! Can't wait!

I have the first 2 days off

we have about 500 acres of wheat and and 3 fields have geese in them

Same pasture with a shallow waterhole that's done well the last 10 -15yrs
First it rained, then it blew, then it frizz, then it snew --- from an oldtimers gunning boat ~~ He understood what it's about!
