It's been a couple weeks for me. How thick is the ice these days?

I've been out some. There was atleast 18 inches on Pelican Lake in Wright Co last weekend. This week on North Long up in Brainerd there is probably about 2 feet. I'm gonna go this week on Pelican again but I left my gas auger in Brainerd so I'm gonna wreck my arms with the hand auger.

I was on Pelican yesterday, caught 16 really nice sunnies and 2 crappies. Could have probable kept more sunnies but we probably thew back atleast another 10 that were on the bubble of keeper size. The panfish have been biting really well out there lately but the northern haven't been biting at all.

Almost kinda sad they are gonna drain it for ducks. Almost.
