If the field is large hunting an edge might be difficult. If you do, leave some space between the edge of the field and the dekes. They rarely feed right up to the edge and it'll take their attention away from you.
Even in a ahy field I would tend to hunt in the middle. I would stack the blinds up next to each other and grass the crap out of them. I prefer one mass than five scattered ones. Be mindful of shadows. I always keep the sun at my back when field hunting, if possible. Sometimes the wind doesn't permit it.
