Recently moved to west central MN and have been loving the countryside so far. Just wanted to send out a hello to all the other hunters out there. Took my boys out for the youth hunt last weekend and they had a blast. More birds than they could shake a stick at!!! I think we are going to love this MN duck hunting!

You're in one of the best regions of the state. I get out there once or twice a year.

Thanks for all of the kind words! The kids and the dog had a blast....can't wait for regular season so I can shoot some of the teal the boys were cracking at last weekend. I have lived in some great duck hunting locations but I think this area is going to make the top of the list!!

Big Stone County is awesome. I mainly pheasants hunt out that way, but every time I do I'm always wishing I was duck hunting instead.

I'm jealous of you living in big stone. I make it out there a few times a year, but it has always been a haul from the cities. This year, I can spend 4 days at a time out that way tho, so when you see a rusty white Silverado cruising the public ground, chances are one of those 50,000 trucks in MN I just described could be me.
