I've been counting the days for a long time. Can't believe I waited til tonight to re-do my boat blind.
It's probably a good thing that I have things to accomplish in the garage this week, my ducky type chores will keep me from going crazy.

Cleaned the decoys, touched up the boat paint, shook down the boat motor today (there's an issue, but I've found a fix for now)... Just waiting on Sunday since I gotta work Saturday

Pulled out the Teal and Wood duck decoys and put their new rig'em rights on and put them in a bag with a couple Mallards. Got the blind on the boat and tackled the boat trailer lights, God I hate trailer lights! lol

I've been counting down the days... can't wait. Our usually spot is holding more water then the last couple of years. Took the mud buddy out and it was running like a dream. It's gonna be a good year.

Not sure I'll be sleeping much Friday night besides the 3:30 am wake-up alarm. I'm pumped!

I'm not going to get any sleep at all. I'll just go to my spot and crash there. Thats what a weekend warrior does best. Jk, I'll get up and go also. Counting down the days

I won't get out till Sunday, and I work till midnight Saturday. The plan is drive from work, pick up my brother, and head straight to the lake, get out there, and maybe catch some shut eye before shooting hours. If not, well, we can't hunt all day anyways so that afternoon/night is going to be me out like a rock.

What we do for some stupid birds
