"Coot-tastrophe"

Postby MinneKans » Fri Oct 18, 2013 7:35 pm

Chatted with my buddy's 15 year old son today. Asked him how his hunt was yesterday. He described how all the ducks would land in the blob of coots instead of decaying by them. He called it a "coot-tastrophe." I about peed my pants laughing!

I will be saying that around my friends like I didn't see it on here first.

Not 4 seconds after that picture, two teal jumped from the left flank of that group of coot, which could have made my limit (aka the whole reason I paddled over there). Then another two from the rightish. One was still on the water right where they took off from so I took aim... But it wasn't a duck. Stupid coots.
