There are huntable numbers of snows in the metro right now more specifically the north metro. Seen quite a few out driving around today. Now if I wasn't working 7 days a week... Might try to get on them tomorrow after work

I do not know were they were coming from but I was woke up this morning by about 10 groups of snows with 20-100 birds in each flying low (70-80yds) over medford. These are the first ive seen since last week other than a few spotty small flocks. probably a fluke but you bet ill get after em if they ever happen by again! Lots of swans and every kind of duck around too!

If anyone is chasing them and can use an extra gun, I really want to go shoot some

I should say "try" to shoot some. I can hit them if they are sitting, lol

Layed in the spread all day yesterday and had one mixed flock of snows and specks come in with no way to shoot at the snows. Specks are thick. Well over a thousand sitting on a slough a half mile from my house. Checked the roost this afternoon and there was only about 100 snows left so i will tuck my tail between my legs and call it a year. Nice to be able to walk out my front door and attempt to kill whitey.

West of Owatonna. If you know the area you can probably guess where they are sitting. I took a walk to see if they were still there this morning and never saw or heard a snow. This weekend was the the first time i have seen birds on the ground this year in this area most have just been passing through. It seems when alot of specks stop a few snows will hang out with them. The wife said at about 10 oclock this morning all the specks flew over the house back to the roost but there wasnt any snows with them.

Hunt able as in how many for you? I live and have grown up just NW of Marshall and RARELY have I ever seen snows come through the area. Maybe a small flock once in a while but anything worth putting time in for isn't around here.
