I'm hoping to get out this coming weekend. Should be a good chance to pass shoot or jump a few in the luverne area. If I had the time or money I'd rather be hitting up SD but I'll have to give er a shot over here!
Managed to scratch out a few this weekend just west of luverne. Large flocks of high flying adults made decoying tough although we almost finished a tornado of about 1k, had specks and lessers in the decoys all weekend though! What a sight to see!
Upload your pic then on the next page choose custom size and make it 1000x1000
After it does the re size it will show what the pic will look like. Click on the actual pic and save to your computer. Don't do the download image stuff it's not necessary.
West of Slayton/Marshall is an area where you can consistantly get into snow. I've seen specks mixed in as well. Not that uncommon in the spring actually.
This pic doesn't really do how many birds there were justice. We sneaked this flock, ended up with 4. We couldn't get very close to then birds. Most had flew but some dummies behind a hill couldn't see us.
Trying to take a dramatic picture of my buddy walking out and failing.
