Hillbilly's Journal

Postby hillbilly.. » Thu Apr 24, 2014 3:42 am

I figured Id just start this so I can post pictures of and progress of the pup. and all my other fun stuff

well the yard needed to be cleaned from all the left over wood so had a good sized fire and a 12pack
since nobody comes over. Sat and drank with myself

Image

then I was playing with a picture that I had and this is what I came up with

Image

and last week the kids went missing so I had to track them down and 4 blocks to the west I found a pond that I never knew about and ive lived in my house for almost 10 years. its a good size and lots of open space will be a great place to train the pup.

Did the mailman have a Rottweiler? Jk I think that's real cool it's different. Unique for sure.

I have never seen a lab that looks like that before - very cool.

He looks good, and I like that he is different. It will be fun to see how he does with your training!

I shot my first pheasant over a german shep/lab mix. My dad had a buddy that had one that was a good pheasant dog.

good looking pup.

Did the breeder offer any reasoning behind the color variation?

And the tan color is in very distinct spots. Pretty cool!

Not sure why anyone would give you grief over your dog, unless he is an untrained liability in the blind...as a puppy that responsibility falls to you

Who gives a rip what people say about your dog. They will shut their cake holes when that little guy is picking up their birds.

I appreciate it Labs. Is she getting used to the new surroundings? She was a bit nervous when I dropped her off since she's a spoiled little indoor pup.

Not sure how old he is but I never used a lead until a few weeks after getting mine home. I started with Hillmann's video but admit life got in the way the past couple weeks so I got behind. His objective was to just focus on them having fun and building a desire for retrieving. If the pup brings what you throw right back to you its a bonus and not a requirement.

Crap, should have asked if you wanted my Fowl Dawg DVD. Clearly I have no use for it with my prissy dog.
