We went by there Saturday afternoon and they were pouring in to roost. I know where I'll be next Saturday.

I've hunted Ballard Park many times. I usually set up next to the red roofed pavillion on the eastern side of the lake. Most of the time I put out a few dozen mallard, muscovy, and white duck floaters and then put out two mojos. Then I top it off with a dozen Canada Goose floaters out by the fountain in the middle. Works everytime! :lol3:

best place to hunt is with a guide if you are from SC. otherwise, go to Alabama.

Yea duck hunting in the Upstate ain't much. Been three mornings, fired two shots at a woodie,I got him. These boy's don't want you to crowd them. Find a guide in the delta region. I was thinking about booking one,but cant get the three people required. Pm me if you want to talk about it .

Red,

Our club has some day leases available that are pretty reasonable. I can get you in touch with the guy that does all the booking if you are interested.

Duckman why would you tell the exact place you hunt? Now all the people that read this thread know about where you hunt and could take your spot. Cyberscouting makes things way too easy

there are so many ducks at the BP that even cyberscouters can't over pressure them. really the more the merrier, to keep them stirred up. People are even willing to lift your decoys right out of the back of your truck when you are there. I hope to see the whole internet there soon.

how bout we all bring all our decoys and all hunt ballard park at once right next to the red pavillion. Having a couple thousand dekes and a hundred mojo's will definatly get those late season decoy shy muscovy's and white ducks in. I'm a big fan of just throwing bread in the water and then beating the ducks with sticks. It saves money :lol3:

I'm gonna need a jerk string, whistle, and three pounds of hummus!
