El Nino

Postby Cephous » Mon Sep 18, 2006 1:34 pm

I heard last week from the National Weather Service that El Nino is back this year. They predict a colder & wetter winter than normal and we could expect this to be like the winter of 1997 when we had snow & ice.

Sucks maybe, compared to last year, no water, no ducks. At least if it gets cold here, it is much colder north of us. Whenever the fields and ponds freeze over here, I go and hunt the yocona river. I have done this with great success. The tallahachie river gives same results as the yocona does.

I hope it rains a good bit before the season comes in or the ducks will fly right over us. Not much water here to hold them. :pissed:

The National Weather Service said yesterday that this will be a mild winter for most of the country. The SE should see above average rainfall but about average temps.
