Good Waterfowl Hunting Magazines

Postby SteelScarf » Thu Oct 20, 2005 10:16 am

Hey I was just wondering if you guys have any subscriptions to any good waterfowl hunting magazines. Currently the only one I am subscribed to worth a damn is Waterfowl Hunter, it has a lot of articles with tons of tips but at the price of 30 beans for only 4 issues a bit expensive.

:salude:

DU and Wildfowl...Waterfowl Hunter is too expensive for me and the 4 issues I did get had very heavy repetition.

I think Wildfowl has the most repitition of any magazine. Everything is through a guide, do any of the writers have any waterfowling experience? Certainly not the editor!

So far Wildfowl is the best I've seen. The Waterfowl Hunter magazines are very expensive but I still buy one from time to time. I personally haven't had any experience with DU, but I have a feeling it's along the same lines as the NRA magazines. A big commercial for the cause. Nothing wrong with that, but I prefer tips and hunts, not just a commercial.

To be honest I really like the Waterfowl Hunter but the price I feel is just not worth it. I checked out the Wildfowl magazine website (www.wildfowlmag.com) and they actually have some of the articles online which seem to offer a ton of tips and advice. I think I may need to subscribe.

Any others that you have heard of but never tried?

I love the DU magazine it has lots of diffrent articles it tells you some diffrent ways to hunt talks about diffrent areas of the country to hunt and best of all your money goes to helping waterfowl it just dosen't get any better then that.
thanks to the men and woman of the United States Coast Guard- without them I would not be here.

Don't forget Delta Waterfowl, as just like DU, you get a magazine with your subscription.
