Man kills deer with bare hands
Last update: November 2, 2005 at 9:20 PM

BENTONVILLE, ARK. - For 40 exhausting minutes, Wayne Goldsberry battled a buck with his bare hands in his daughter's bedroom.

Goldsberry, about 6-feet-1 and 200 pounds, finally subdued the five-point whitetail deer that crashed through a bedroom window at his daughter's home Friday. When it was over, blood splattered the walls and the deer lay dead on the bedroom floor, its neck broken.

At this time of year, a buck that sees its reflection in a window often charges, believing it is fighting off a rival, said Deputy Sheriff Doug Gay. Goldsberry had the deer butchered. "He's in the freezer," he said.

People should use there hands and lure deers in their windows more often, that way they wont have to buy tags. :toofunny:

This is the reason why people should always carry a handgun for defense.

Yeah, I know that the fear of deer flying through my window is enough reason to start packing at all times!

like yeller said arkies don’t mess around. But a rarely go to the deer stand I just hunt in my living room... I live in a cow pasture..

I also heard about something like that in Public school. Some deer went through there window of a class room. Was an all black school so prob. got shot before It got out. Pine bluff. aR was ranked #10 worst city in nation.
"Thomas Jefferson said I had a God-given right to pursue happiness. What makes me happy is to take a mallard's head smooth off at about 20 feet.

Man kills deer

Postby MicroMike » Thu Nov 17, 2005 3:42 pm

When I was a teenager, two surveyous were attacked by a buck in rut. One struggled with it while the other one retrieved a machete from the truck and killed the deer. It had to go something like this.

"Hey Virgil, Keep it busy, I'm going for the machete!"

There was no word on Virgils response....
