That's awesome.

I just heard of a guy shooting his first duck ever on opening day in Missouri. It was a double band with a $100 reward band. :mrgreen:

Talk about luck.

I think I've been cursed this year. I got my 47th bird this morning and still no bands. Still no flight ducks here in MI.

I know a feller' who's first duck ever was double banded.

Id be happy if i got a band every 47th bird. I know guys that went like 10 years before they got theres.
The group ended up with 420 birds.

Yes, boys, I know I shouldn't shoot hens, but we're all guilty of it. We usually shoot drakes, but when the huntings slow, anything goes. Besides, they taste great :mrgreen: Good luck guys

I'm still looking for the first band. I probably won't kill 47 birds in 2 years, so I am jealous of all of y'all. Congrats on the bands. :salude:

Over decoys, not on a jump. I never jump-shoot, and have taught my stepson to do the same. I'd rather throw out 100 decoys and sit back.
