I don't know what the hell is going on lately, but this is my 3rd band in less than 2 weeks. Shot our limit this morning, it was about 25 deg., wind was 25 with gusts. My dog got the first 3, then decided his season was over. Tried to get him out of the boat, he wouldn't budge. I found out why because when I went out to get the last bird, I tripped and filled my waders. When that water touches skin, it sucks. Going for em again in the morning. Good luck guys, and watch your footing.[/img]

That is impressive, there was a local Ohio boy last year on his first duck hunt in a field and bagged a drake and hen mallard both sporting Jack Miner bands how is that for luck.Either way congrats and you got some luck!

My stepson shot his 4 ducks, I let him shoot his own limit. When I was growing up, I was brought with so my dad, uncles, and older cousins could shoot another limit. I rarely fired a shot, so I figure I'll let him get his shots in. I did find out that it takes alot of patience, he still misses alot. Good luck guys.

It still amazes me that you guys have been duck hunting for weeks, and I can't wait til our two-day early season in 10 days.
