Stamps for youth?

Postby tuf-duc » Mon Nov 14, 2005 11:51 am

I'm looking at taking my Grandson out Duck hunting around Christmas and can't remember if a 10 year old needs his State and Federal stamps or not.

All I know is for Michigan you don't....but you have to be 12 here.
No, I'm not a good shot, but I shoot often.

No for the federal....(federal regs)
The State will depend on the individual State.
Check your State Regs. you can do that on line.

Here in California, No stamps required untill He/She is 16 years old
They can get a licence as soon as they can pass a 100 question test.
(and sit through a 8 hour class)
Big game tags at 12 years old.

Have fun and way to be a mentor, Lots of guys out there dont realize what will happen If WE dont start getting the kids involved. They (kids)are our future
