What did you end up tipping if you don't mind me asking? I went on my first weekend guided trip 2 years ago. 3 hunts, $450, and got told standard was about 20% by a guy in our group. So $100 for him to have the land for us, bring the decoys, and clean our birds.

That's about right. I view it like being at a restaurant, you can show your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the tip. Good tippers usually always get invited back and preference on dates and spots.

Getting ready to get ready for a weekend of trout and beer. Gonna fish the White River in Cotter, Arkansass. Started out with about 15 guys for the trip, now, down to eight. Buncha slackers can't get their shite together. Heard reports that creek minnows are the ticket. Sculpin and worms aren't out yet. Making a cabelas run tonight, probably, end up buying a bunch of stuff I already have. Also, gotta get some new rain gear, mine is no longer waterproof.

I'll clean out the freezer, see what meat I have. I'm about out of fish, I think I have one bag of mallards, gadwalls, and canvasbacks breasted out. Hope some of the other boys have some deer meat left.

Go! Theres nothing better than a guys fishing trip out in the middle of nowhere. Went 2 years ago, with some buddies. We had bud light and hot dogs for breakfast, bud light and PBand Js for lunch, and warm meal for dinner washed down with budlight.

Trust me, you'll be happy. I love civilization, but a trip to nowhere is always great.

As of now, they aren't running but two of the generators. There is some flooding down river, we don't expect too much water.

Call Obama. He'll give you a government grant to turn the algae into gas. The slime is federally protected. The EPA has been notified that you're washing it off, and will be there momentarily to issue a stop work order and a fine.

I'm doing some posting this morning. Trying desperately to get a song that is stuck in my head to go away. "Up Town Girl" by Billy Joel is great...

Saw it from the 2nd row opening weekend and still thought it was good but I know I missed a lot. Acting sucks but no one watches those kinds of movies to see the acting.

I thought it was a good movie, but the acting did suck. Good fire fight scenes. My friend's brother was one of the Marines listed at the end.

Was bored to see who were the 1%'s of DHC. Well it's just Indaswamp and he's top 1.5% of all posts. I'm going to set up shop at Hustards and occupy his goose blind in the mean time.

I'm ready for turkey season. Went and looked at my newly acquired farm Sunday, there was 20 birds in one field 5 hens, 6 or 7 jakes, the rest long beards. Where's April 1st?
