Thanks fellas.....good to be back.
Had a good trip up to the ESVA with my brother on the houseboat. 1,100 miles at 6 mph! Sweetie pie (her engine) didn't miss a beat the whole trip here. Weather luck was also good. Been real busy moving our entire operation to a work shop here at the marina where the houseboat is gonna live. Seven boats, approx 400 decoys, blinds, motors, trailers etc.
Just picked up a signal booster for cell phone which seems to be working well. ( went from no signal bars to three)
Some of my family are due down soon to give the old man some much needed extra muscle moving all this crap.
Gonna go terrorize Assa fairly soon and get caught up on stuff with him.

Thanks Swamp. Have put this off going on 2 years now. Always unsure if I would like it. Glad I did it after seeing it finished. Wasnt hard at all either.

Its that blind I built a couple weeks ago. I think its in the season prep thread. Gotta let the stencils get good and dry so I can crack all the paint off before I do the motor. They were getting saggy and hard to handle by the time I was done today. Once they do I will pull the motor, touch up the transom and paint the motor.

Welcome back WFM. Nice paint baker. And nighty night up early to take my Lab to get her female parts fixed she is 4 and I have decided she isn't worthy of spreading genes. I like her she does good but isn't fire breather quality. LOL

Got my license four days to late. Tomorrow is the last day of early season so I'm gonna give it a whirl in the afternoon. Hopefully a few birds have made their way down.

Put our first scratch of the new season behind me yesterday afternoon sitting on a spot we put a mess of birds out of going in.

After what's become a lot of years of carrying people hunting, it still eats my lunch to scratch with folks along.
