Was there something wrong with the A-5? Or he just borrowed it?

Hey serious question:

Have been looking at a kayak for some time. Hard to find one that's either small and light for cheap, or a bigger one with space (dog and myself plus gear) or a moderate price and the ability to add a small trolling or mud motor.

Kayak's that I've seen are either brand new and they realize they aren't gonna kayak anymore (new prices), super far away and predominately bright colors.

Anyways, I have the option to buy a Carsten Pintail for $500 ish depending on what kind of deal can be worked out. It's a bit of a drive, but I might be able to have a friend pick it up for me. I've been reading about the model, and think it would work out well. A bit heavy, but nothing too crazy, especially once I get a motor.

Is that a "must buy" price, or average? I see they are only $800 plus shipping new. I would rather have an aquapod, but I've only seen one in a 5 hr drive and they want $1200.
It's bird season again, you can quit being a douchebag now.

I had it re-blued back home after the season ended and my grandpa had kept it at his home. It was rusted to hell from the salt water hunts. The guy did a good job on it I think. I like the flat black color rather than the typical gloss shine.

For 1200 you can buy one new from the factory. I had mine shipped to my house. If your really in the market for a low profile boat that you can take you and the dog, get a pod. It's well worth the money. I got the fiberglass model cuz it was cheaper than the composite one. The weight savings would have been nice while carrying it, but when your paddling it wouldn't be a noticeable difference. Plus I can repair it myself if anything happens to it since its fiberglass.

If my dad hadn't bought it new in the 60's for $125 I'd never be able to own one either. My grandfather left me his Superposed or i'd have to sell my kidney to Titz to afford one

I got my grandfather-in-law's 870 when he passed a couple years ago - at 97! Good man and super happy to have that gun, but I haven't shot it yet. Feels like I both should and shouldn't, you know?

Wouldn't have to sell a kidney to buy that gun, but it's priceless to me...

A guy at work was asking about O/U because he'd like to buy one. He said he wanted a Franchi i find one on arms list. There is a Superposed on there for 1,700. I said buy this NOW. he said I don't like the looks of that one. I like the Citoris and Franchis better.

I don't know whether to hit him or cry for him
