He tells me well the offer stands if you change your mind. His wife just stood there smiling.

The man was not joking, not one bit.

Should've taken him up on the offer and said it wasn't worth that much of a price drop. I will take $2,700 now though just because I feel bad.

This.

Considered, really I did. I stopped at my Grandparents on the way home to help Grandpa, told him. He said price up town for a BJ is 25 bucks. lol

Morning guys!

Went to hokey game last night, was out until 1:30 and now I'm in the woods trying to shot me a rack. It's not even sun up and I'm regretting my decision.

Great morning. I ended up hunting that cut bean field with all the mallards with a buddy this morning. Was like shooting fish in a barrel. How I wish duck season was in though!!!

I told my buddy that I wasn't real worried about shooting geese today and would bat cleanup until he got his limit. I was more worried about getting Kate set on the right foot, since it was her first time out "really" hunting. I only set out a dozen silo's and a dozen shells. We were definitely "on the X". Flocks that got shot at came back around with no calling and wanted to land there again.

Kate got her first real retrieve on a goose. Ended up retrieving all six, including one runner. She hit that sucker 100mph like a ton of bricks and brought it back. They were all biiiggggg geese too. Had a 2 man limit in about 10 minutes. Half of the geese we weren't even in blinds, I was crouching behind the blind trying to work Kate. Then on top of that, groups of 10-15 mallards were flying all around us every minute or so. Probably saw 200 plus mallards in the half hr we were there. Very non-typical for my area. We got the heck outta there after snapping a few pics and will hopefully be in there again tomorrow with more ppl!
