jehler's midgets coudn't reach their little legs up that high, they would just headbutt his nut$ instead.

Haven't been afternoon goose/duck hunting much at all because it's so slow. Did just finish putting third deer in the box.

are they in addition to your duck limit there like they are here in the mississippi flyway?

We can shoot 5 mergansers in addition to the duck limit. We are over run with red breasted and quite a few hooded here too. We almost always let them swim around in the decoys unless it's a slow morning and one of the young guys is itching to kill something.

The perfect steak.

Postby T Man » Mon Nov 18, 2013 9:21 pm

Aaaannnddddd...here it is. And the method

Steak: KC Strip - Frozen
Image

First, using a propane torch, thoroughly brown the outside while still frozen.
Image
Image

Once all sides are seared, Season to taste. I like fresh black pepper, some salt and some Montreal Steak Seasoning. Once seasoned, into a 200 deg oven for about an hour.
Image

One hour later ta dah!! It looks the same, but like your mother always said, its whats on the inside that counts
Image

Herb butter on before tenting for 10 minutes
Image

Voila, perfect medium rare, no grey ring

I'm sure it is. I think I'm gonna drag it down to the dealer this week and let them fark with it. I'm hoping its just a bad pulley. My debacle is whether or not to trade it in to get a something newer.

I had a Toyota do the same thing to me, 22RE though. Just a bearing in the idler pulley. Probably less than $20 to fix it yourself...

I'm fond of saying I like deer hunting because no one's disappointed if nothing shows, but we count on three or four a year at our house, so it's a pretty big deal to have that behind me.
