Last night I made Chicken Bonne Femme, the preimere New Orleans French Quarter chicken dish...

t_b, this one is very easy to make if your wife wants the recipe.

About to pull the chicken out of the oven, dice the bacon, add the potatoes, mushrooms and onions...

Best to use thin cut bacon and leg quarters or Cornish hens for this recipe. There are quite a few variations on this recipe, but there are a few constants-brush the chicken with lemon juice and oil, and use garlic, onion and potatoes...you can throw in carrots if you like. :thumbsup:
