Pfffft. Filleted in half a minute. And good eating size fillets too.

Westie knows, however they taste better whole.

Titz you scale then de head them gut them and fry them. But a pain in ass compared to electric fillet knife

@Botiz.
Originally the cooler was green.
I primed the cooler white with plastic primer first. (White)
Then painted it solid tan camo.
Next I got out the baby pool and sprayed brown camo paint onto the pool water. (Fill pool enough to float the cooler)
With practice you can predict what the paint will do but its dynamic. You have to grab the cooler and dip one side quick. One color at a time. Let dry in sun between colors.

I found I can do two sides before I need to use fresh water. The paint starts doing weird stuff so change water frequently.
Its gets too "busy" if you try multiple colors at once. Tried that.

I dont recommend trying a shotgun with this method.

Tried a thermos and did two. My toolboxes are camo now. Then the coolers.
Trying to figure out how to dip a boat. :)

At first tried multiple colors at once. Turned out like this.
Cool but too busy.

This turned out nice.
Tried for zebra stripe effect.

And yeah, I know...the right side looks like a painted zebra backed into it.

Scale em, gut em, chop the head off behind the gills, done. I usually cut the tail because I don't eat them but some do. Deep fry em whole then basically pull the dorsal out and scrape meat off sides.

That's good, because between the two of them they've got the salmon laying low this morning.

Poor salmon fishing for Beel is taking 2 hours to get your limit instead of 1.

Might have to try that salmon thing sometime. I fished Lakers off of standard rock in superior and that was a blast.

Next time there will be a full moon on Friday the 13th is something like 2049. So not 400 years from now.
