Anyone an arborist? My parents have a group of old pine trees on their property that must be at the end of their cycle. I'm trying to figure if there is any value to them.

The trees are pines, provably sixty feet tall, and have a tall wide canopy. They are real straight. I've heard them called peddler pines, but obviously that's not the scientific name. Google has nothing on it.

Call your local mill and see if they will buy.

Any one run a plow on their 4 wheeler? Thinking hard about getting one but cant decide if it will be useful on 4-5 inches of snow.

Also does the winch (already have a 2000lb warn) control the up and down. I have a 450 Foreman it should have the power if i can get the grip....

My brother in law has one. He used it for a while, but figured out it was easier to use the snowblower.

Waiting for Tbaker to respond too, ive never needed one but last winter wife had trouble getting out in her car a few days. Kind of figured it would be one of those toys that only helps when you dont have to have it. May be able to get a deal on one now been sitting at shop for over a year. I can get my dads tractor but if the plow worked i could also use for clearing a path at the Boat ramp at times.

It's only 65 degrees right now but its 84% humidity. I feel like I'm melting but I'm not hot. Weird combo.

I've seen them push quite a bit of snow. If I brake down yet this summer and get one or that new honda SxS I will have one with it. My drive way is paved and makes all kinds of turns so a quad would make it easier.

We have been high 70's low 80's with similar humidity. Just a odd combo.

redfishing trip was a success. Had 19 fish blow up on my topwater bait but only hooked 11. shoulda hooked at least 3-4 more though, I hooked one and he came off... little did I know that he took the front treble hook with him! I usually buy silver saltwater hooks to replace the ones on my baits when they need replacing, but the store was out of silver so I bought what they had-red...

Well, I did not notice the front treble hook was missing until 3-4 fish later!!! :lol3: :lol3:

Got 15# of 21-25 count shrimp too...

Canoeing was great this weekend. Couple class 1 and class 2 rapids, just enough to have a little fun. Weather was perfect, about 75 and sunny.

No, had to help my folks with storm clean up. I did go fly rod shopping. Found a couple, I need to do some more research on them.A Sage and a Reddington.

Oh and I left my coffee at home.

What rods? I imagine there's a considerable difference in price between the two?
