Wind is supposed to change to the North by Sunday and pick up to 25-35 with gusts to 40 and heavy snow with lows Monday night in the single digits, so you guys better get ready, your gonna get a big push this week.

The University of Florida, home of the sick and twisted hippies. The general mentality of this city is nearly unbearable for me. My family was here first though  .

Now, some hunting/Rambler pics.

This mornings hunt. Went out and was still able to get to Church! First teal (greenwing) at legal light, 45 minutes later I bagged the bluewings in 30 second blaze of glory  . The moccasin didn't like .380.

First days hunt. The ducks weren't flying well and the beretta decided to malfunction.

Nice Orangelake!! That picture of the pond with the "hammock" in the background with the palm trees is cool! those deeks look way out of place though! :lol3:
so that's 8 teal, 2 coots, and 1 gallinue.. Is that a snipe or a woodcock? "m not sure it counts.

And I"d be careful carrying a .308 with you while duck hunting. Not allowed here in Louisiana. Don't know about florida though.

Yea Papa...a "Hammock" is what they call a big round clump of oak trees/cypress that dot the landscape down there...

Thanks, I didn't see that post. I'll try to get it done soon.

Kinda depressed, I wanted to be out duck hunting this a.m. while the birds are hot, but I guess finals take priority  . I may slip out this afternoon though.

Oh, and it's a snipe. I didn't know if we're counting coots and other birds, I just took 'em because. And the gallinule was unintentional.

I had to wait until after I finished eating my microwave cooked pizza before reading through the menu or else I don't think I could have swallowed the cheap bread and cheese.... Did add a little taste of LA with the Louisiana Hot Sauce, can't ever get enough of that stuff it goes on everything! I think just being able to stumble on your camp at night and have a hot plate of the dinner special would be about equal to sharing a blind with you and blasting away
