Looks good! I had chicken and dumplings with homemade biscuits.

Got a big pot of turkey leg and thighs boiling to make stock...be finished in about an hour.

It is out of this world, if I want Cajun food I typically want to go to La but this is right on the money. Enough heat to burn but very enjoyable.

Made Dat with momma's left over christmas roast gravy....did not need to add much other than 2 big onions and da burgers. :wink:

We will be celebrating new Years day at the fire station with the guys. We are eating jambalaya po-boys with pepper jack cheese for lunch, then smothered cabbage with tasso and andouille, black-eyed pea fritters, and I have no idea what else for supper. Gonna chill out over there and watch the game. gonna make andouille in the next few days then might make another trip to the camp....

We're spending time at my younger sisters place tomorrow with a lot of family. She's doing a pork backbone stew :drool: and will have a turkey roll and way too many other things to mention. It will be a belt buster, for sure.
