Nicely done! Doesn't look like you need any help! How did everything run?

Swamp, those fish are coming out of 46 degree water, we're dodging ice bergs out there.

Ah...well down here if you get to the point that you have nothing but melted water in the cooler, might as well throw the fish overboard, they are rotten. Jehler could not believe the amount of ice we had to buy in late November for his trip here to the Indacamp.

Yea, I usually throw a couple frozen milk jugs in the cooler and call it good, but we really don't even need to do that. I just make sure that the meat gets cooled down quickly after they are cleaned.

That must be a royal pain buying and keeping that much ice. That's why us Yanks don't understand the Yeti fascination either. Sevens months out of the year our coolers are just expensive boxes.

We got Ice vending machines all over louisiana....20# loose or 16# bagged for $1.50

just put your cooler under the chute and filler up!

we like to use a 5 gallon bucket though so we don't have to lift the cooler full of ice into and out of the boat.

It's only an issue on the beach trips. On the boat, I just buy bags and pay more at a gas station the night before. There's only one machine in town and its 15min out of my way, not stopping on the way to the coast...

20#'s of ice will barely fit in a standard 5 gallon bucket. You will loose 2% of it, but who cares! It sure beats moving the ice chest!!!

Just found a local place that sells blocks for far cheaper than the trouble of taking up freezer space is worth...

Oh we need help, That was day 1... the next 3 days were filled with empty chests.
2nd day we went 0/1 the next 0/3 and the next 0/1.
But From what I have heard from other guys who fished over the fourth, that's how it went.
Everyone did well on the fourth and the rest of the weekend was bad, very few boats came in with more than one fish.
Also the fleas started clogging up the lines the last three days.

all pictures snapped the rest of the trip looked like this:

look at that gunk on the line and in the top eyelet:
