Fine square tubing the same size and make a solid one as long as you want it. Or you can buy the extensions for $30

Conduit isn't bad either, we've just always made 2 piece poles from conduit and they don't hold up well at all, but a solid one would

I've messed with this many a time and bought the mojo floater to solve the problem.

If you do extend the pole (which can be nice for flooded ag fields) welded rebar with at least two (preferably 3) anchor pins will keep it from falling over. Same in mud/muck. That extra height challenges gravity, especially in any wind.

Depending on where you're hunting, I've also seen people make a noose type set up and hang it from a tree. Bobs and weaves decent with the wind

I got a four foot 1/2 inch square aluminum pole to replace the bottom section of the mojo pole. Had to special order it, Home Depot did not carry that size in aluminum. drill a hole near the end of the pole and another hole in the middle section of your existing mojo pole and pin the two together. It works pretty good, doesn't rust, and you can take it apart to transport. paint it if you want, but where I hunt I usually totally submerge the extension section anyway.

You can buy 8' bamboo poles of the right diameter at Lowes or Home depot garden centre for about $3

I own the extender pole. I like it, but it can be precarious.

I cut a rung out of an old section of a ladder stand. Worked like a charm.

Some of the blinds on my lake just take a long 2x4 cut the end to a point, strap the regular mojo pole to it, stick it into the bottom, and leave the 2x4 out.

If the mojo is a drake, name it Smilin' Bob, and you can use Enzyte.

If william wallace was a duck hunter:
William: We'll make mojo poles. Hundreds of them, long mojo poles. Twice as long as a man.
Hamish: That long?
William: Aye.
Hamish: Some men are longer than others.
Campbell: Your mother been telling you stories about me again?

It sits on the pole and waves the ducks in.

Watch Austin Powers and you'll understand. He spends most of the movie trying to get his mojo back so it will all make sense after why you need a longer pole.
