I was offered to position this morning. Called on my cell phone while I was duck hunting. As long as I pass the physical, I am one of the newest federal firefighters. Only bad part is that I have to move from my current home to one 120 miles away. Will be working on a refuge, so I guess I can still hunt. Oh yeah, I killed 2 drake mallards with 3 shots this morning. The only 2 ducks that decoyed to me all morning.

CONGRATS ks_waterfowler!! It will all be worth it in the long run and at least you will still have a refuge to hunt right under you.

Everyone must believe in something and I believe I'll go hunting. When men bond something must die.
