Killed this woodie this morning! I didn't put DHC ON HIS BELLY, but I do have the dhc decoy so I got a picture of the two together. How's that? I'll post band information when my buddy gets it pit in the computer

AND, I never accepted your challenge. I'm just showing you that I got a spot that kills banded woodies(albeit mostly in early wood duck season).

I don't have anything to gain from making this up, so you can believe me or not.

Jones co Ducker wrote:Yesterday my dad and I took my step brother(who doesnt hunt waterfowl ever!) hunting and after missing and missing some more he shoots 1 out of 8-10 woodies. His first duck Ok cool. Except this one was banded. Ive hunted for over a decade and never got a banded duck

Two things come to mind: The first...."he shoots 1 out of 8-10 woodies".....How many woodies of the 8-10 ended up on the strap that day.

Secondly...."Ive hunted for over a decade and never got a banded duck."....You are probably not shooting enough ducks, unless you spot and shoot ducks that you see flying or landing with a band, getting a banded bird is just a matter of numbers. Or perhaps, you aren't shooting as good as you should.

Try this: Next year try going duck hunting at least three times a week. Before the next season go to the skeet range at least twice a week and shoot several rounds of skeet each time you go. (if you shoot a shotgun with screw in chokes, use your duck hunting gun and choke it IC or use a skeet choke)

If your stepbrother is now lording his band over you, the next time you and your dad take him hunting, dround him in the duck pond when your dad isn't looking.

Can you convert it to another file type? Try "save as" and see if you can change it to a type that DHC supports.
