Pontoon Houseboat Build

Postby jehler » Wed Jun 20, 2012 5:28 am

What's that give ya, 10000 pounds of flotation or so?
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it,
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick - erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it

you should have a lot more blocks/cribbing under those toons. one fat kid decides to use the toons as a trampoline and your day is ruined. or just set them on the ground.

are you going to build it on the ground or on a trailer?

Going to Build it on the Ground it is Going to be 16x32 Deck and 12x15 Enclosed & 12x15 Covered Front Porch. Yes they are 24" Dia. I found a Set 30 Ft Long that were 19" Dia. they looked to be very Old. This set is a 1992 Model. Have a Buddy with a Tilt Bed 18 Wheeler Trailer that will come and Launch it for me. Will Post pics when I get to Working on it.

I deducted a couple feet for the nose cone and gave an allowance for the weight of the toons

Why are you using wood instead of Aluminum?

Aluminum & modern pressure treated wood do not play well together. Tends to eat the aluminum.
