If anyone else is following this, make sure your windows and doors are open, I had my windows open but not the doors and my industrial grade fire alarm system went off moments after the meat hit the pan. Spot my lab was running around barking before I could get it silenced, that and trying not to let it go one minute per side before getting it off the pan.

I cannot believe how good it taste!

How'd the Brant do sous vide? Probably nowhere near as gamey as usual eh??

What do the kids say? No homo? Inda I love you, that recipe was great, in the near future you will get a PM saying I am on your doorstep with some dead brant and offer them to you to cook up. They are not gamey to begin with, but that is a killer way to cook them.

wish I could see that on video! :lol3:

it does produce some smoke when they hit the hot pan, and if you don't have a vent, opening the windows is probably very good advice.

Inda, just googled Federal possession limits, got no info about a change, mostly a bunch of naked women  but no change in the two days limit, what gives?

according to Larry Reynolds the 3 day possession limit was voted on along with our 6 teal limit at the flyway counsel meeting this year.....

OK, does Larry do court appearances in Alaska? I know that AK has for years said it is 3 days, but have never pushed that in front of a Federal agent, hope it is so, that would probably make us good for 4 days but want to make sure, we should get our state regs in a few days, but sometimes they say, just go by last years until the new stuff is out.

Inda, thanks for the links, although all I saw was the state saying it was 3 times, like I said Alaska has been saying that for years I hope it is true but will hold out until I see it printed out up here, better safe than sorry.
