They're in there re-tooling all of their equipment. The Indas showed them a way to produce their calls at a third of the price, using only existing equipment, a 5-gallon bucket, a whistle, and a piece of re-bar. And the cast-offs from the turnings can be used as boudin filler, sauce piquant, or redfish bait.

So, now I can buy a RNT Emu call?

Available in hot pink and neon green. Bright colors attract emus, you know. If you get the package, it comes with a free Midnight Oil CD.

Word out of Stuttgart this morning is that it will be called the Assateague signature call and will be a limited run. I'm calling to preorder mine now.

Are they all 5-gallon Originals? Or are quart Short Barrel and 55-gallon MVP models also available?

Don't spill the beans, but there will be a limited run of 3-gallon short barrels as well, in chartreuse. They're also working on a double-barrel prototype, 3-gallon inside the 5-gallon. Little harder to run and get a good emu drummmmmm, but when you do, they'll come running. It's gonna be called the "Double Thumper of Death", and will more than likely have a skull and/or some sort of graffiti logo on it. If you shave one side of the rim of the 5-gallon barrel, you can get some amazing sound as well. In a few years we'll run a "shave-down" edition. I may retire next Wednesday, between these and the UniCorn blinds.

I will work on it tonight. I have to resize a lot of them because they are too big for this forum.

That's what I'm sayin'. A word of caution, though: I wouldn't post anything that would cast Cason in a bad light. That man has a rifle that would easily cover the difference from Byers Farm in BFE to your home place in Texas. If there's ever a man hunt going down around Hunter, Arkansas, I want to be on the giving end, not the receiving.

That 6.5mm will castrate a gnat at 600 yards.

Awesome! should have brought more cash!! they had a crazy good sale on shells!! You were right though, no way to walk into that place and NOT spend some money. We bought some more decoy line that we needed badly-they had it at a really great price too!
