Holy crap. At the very bottom of the wiki article is a list of famous people who live in or lived in Page County.

If you have permission on all of the lakes and rivers, then you should know if you have any ducks. Going out and scouting is a good way to know this valuable piece of information. It is obvious you do not have any skill or you would already know where the ducks are or aren't. Now Clay, in order to have a team name you have to earn it. Fowl Junkies is probably a name that should be used by someone who can duck hunt, you cannot. We here at DHC will be glad to give you an appropriate nickname for you and your little friends. So how about it guys can we help out our friends from Virginia with an appropriate nickname? We could start with the obvious like "The Run-on Sentence Boys" or the "Lack of Punctuation Posse" or the "Cyberscouter Crew". We should have an expert on our forum that could eplain the whole Appalachian Flyway to you if you wish. His name is Indaswamp, just pm him and link this thread and you should get all of the information out that way on where to look for a good place or know of a good place to hunt or just someplace holding birds since you have two dogs and all of the skills!

Find tangier island slacker on here. He lives in or around Harrisonburg, and swears the birds are thick out that way. I know he hunts tangier too, but I believe he actually lives in Harrisonburg.

By the way, your part of va is a great place. I grew up in the tidewater area and went to tech.

I would think we should defer this question to Miss Hunt. You're in luck. Helen is from your neck of the woods and has a vast knowledge of the Page County Virginia area, and all the places that hold ducks this time of year. Normaly I wouldn't give out her name, as it's times like this that everyone wants her advise on decoying weary birds.

Ask them boys from NC... they were also told to go to her for the info they wanted.

So to wrap this up... If you need help finding workable birds in and around Page County Virginia, Go to Helen Hunt for it...
