Nope, not mine. That's my buddys g3. Its a 1988, beast of an aluminum boat. 90 Yamaha pushes almost 50mph.

I'll be getting something like 1652-1754 all welded, wide open, tiller, trolling motor and set it up like a flats boat

I missed why you got rid of the old one. Will this Jon boat be a hunting and fishing boat?

Yea, it will be dual purpose.

I'm at the time where I need to put some $$ in the savings acct, and I wasn't in love with that boat. I liked it a lot, but after fishing it all summer I knew I would want a little bit bigger in the future. For the time being I want dual purpose, then down the road when I can afford the real fishing rig I want I'll get it.

I'll be setting this up flats style, for the area I'll be fishing winter/hunting. I'll also add a removable livewell tank for the summer flounder fishing.

Looooong barrels do a lot to quite. They experimented with them in MN, and probably elsewhere, for hunting in areas with lots of houses etc to thin out geese populations.

We shot three of the five teal we saw Saturday, and saw none Sunday. I think they have all headed south for a bit
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it,
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick - erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it
