Might be cheaper for you in the long run to hire paid workers than use the free help

At least she kept it upright and didn't spill much. Did the wheel fall off before or after the crash

Cannon-are you going to have to rent equipment to get the rice out, or will a repair be made in time?

She's not good at the whole 'farming and driving a tractor' game, is she?

Nice trick. Must spill the rice out to repair the cart. Duck food right there. I see nothing.

Well, rice harvest was supposed to end today. By the time the new axle for that grain cart gets here on Friday, we ought to have the crop out anyway.

Farming is expensive.

Were you able to get the rice out of the cart and into a truck?

Yeah. I just ran the combine header under the auger and fed it back through the combine.

FWIW, when you break an axle spindle on a grain cart, you should really replace both of em. I give you cannon's exhibit #1, a picture from almost exactly this time last year . . . .

Same grain cart, same driver, opposite axle spindle.

I'm detecting a pattern here...

Sorry about the bad luck.

Yup. I did. Can't take this crap too seriously. On any given day, I may bounce between driving tractors, driving combines, driving 18 wheelers, welding stuff, running grain elevators, etc. you're gonna tear stuff up -- it goes with the territory. If you over-think it, it'll drive ya nuts. This was my favorite two years ago: First pic is of the back axle I snapped & the second it the result

That combine's had a rough run. How longs it been since the dog hijacked it?

I think she's just breaking stuff on purpose to get out off work. Like me "forgetting" to pull clothes out of the dryer before they wrinkle....after putting stuff in the dryer that wasn't apparently dryer safe.
