I've seen so many fat people on those dang scooters. I hate those things. They ride around n then get up n walk to the front of the lines for rides or anything. They could walk but they chose not to because they're too lazy. I actually saw a fat kid driving one and a not so fat granny barely walking beside her. Ridiculous.

Thinking about buying or building a 223 upper to put on my Rock River lower for a longer range rifle. Any suggestions?

I had a bushmaster varmint special. Had a free floating 24" stainless bull barrel on it. Was a dandy, you can prolly pick up an upper on gun broker.

Doesn't matter. I don't want to break the bank, but I don't want a cheap POS either. I'm just tossing the idea around right now. Deer season is over and duck is about to be, so I'm thinking about going after some coyotes. I have a Rock River Entry Tactical set up as my patrol rifle and I've thought about using it. It's dead on at a hundred, but it just has an Eotech on it.

You could always just put a white oak barrel on it, or another brand. I've been very pleased with my Wilson 300 blackout.

I'd like to leave that upper intact and buy or build another so they can be swapped out on the lower. I'll probably end up putting together a new lower down the road too.

There ya go. Get a barrel nut and you're good to go. White oak makes a great barrel as well.

Thanks! I used to keep up with AR's when I was trying to figure out what I wanted for a patrol gun but haven't really done much research in them lately.

We had blisters the whole thyme. Get over it.

Glad you're having fun.

So I go to the same gas station for breakfast every morning and have been for about the last 7 years. Well apparently the phone lines are jacked up this morning and the CC machine wasn't working and I had no cash to pay for the 14 dollars worth of breakfast I had ordered up. Long story short the little old lady that runs the cash register reaches down into her purse and pulls out 15 bucks and says have a good day and pay me back tomorrow. Pretty sweet of her.

A 14 dollar gas station breakfast? What the hell did you buy, everything they had?
