Bill Byers Hunter Club Video

Postby Crazy Matt » Tue May 07, 2013 7:53 am

As you all know, I had the privilege of hunting at BBHC this past season. It was truly an eye opening experience  and one that I will not forget. I am thankful and blessed to have had the opportunity to capture some of the hunts that were there opening day. So again, Cason, thank you for allowing US to hunt with you this past season.

This is my first film that I have actually dedicated a lot of time. It was challenging filming out of a pit, but that being said, it is challenging in general capturing waterfowl on film. Especially for a guy like myself who just wants to shoot everything in sight. My fraternity brother helped me A LOT with the editing. I hope you all enjoy the film as you gear up for next season.

I do not want to embed because the little screen is too small. Full screen this SOB, turn up the speakers, sit back and enjoy.

Great video. Was that three cameras you had going? One was a panoramic?

I think I used Byers' Nikon D7000 for a bit, I can't remember.

Majority of the footage was taken on 6? GoPros, Canon XA10, and a Canon 7D

And yes...I'll give a shout out again to Cason for putting on the DHC hunt at the club. Unbelievable hospitality and I enjoyed meeting everyone and watching Kenlee melt everyone's heart!

All footage is taken from various pits, but yes, you can kinda tell which portions are from black mound. There is a "road" behind black mound, so one camera was setup back there. I believe my 7D.

Black mound and the south 160. Matt sat outside the pit the last morning to get some better shots.
Well done Matt. I'm fired up for next season every time I watch it.
